Have you ever forgotten to exit from Play Mode in Unity Editor before you applied changes in the scene? It’s very irritating when you lost even minutes of your work. As everyone knows, in Play Mode you can change scene objects’ parameters but these changes will not be saved. There is one small trick to be informed that you are in Play Mode currently. You can change Editor’s tint color. To do this just select Edit menu and then click Preferences… You will see window like this:
and in the Colors tab you can change Playmode tint to preferred color. We use the red one. Now, if you click Play button your Editor should change its color in this manner:
Looks beautiful, right? Now it will be harder to forget to return to Edit mode.
